During the first post in this blog it was difficult to keep all the excited customer's focused on the new site and not praising their local Wood You stores (which is a good problem to have). Well here is your time to shine and give your kudos to the Wood You Furniture store in your town! This section is dedicated to those that love Wood You Furniture so much they just can not keep it to themselves. Here is the place to let it all out . . . tell us all you can about your experience with Wood You Funiture.

Each story is sure to encourage your local stores and to remind the others why we are the largest real wood furniture chain in the United States. I have purchased Wood-U furniture before but I have become an internet shopper. I will not go out to buy without price shopping first. Your new web site shows no prices (I'm not sure the 'old' one did either. I assume the price of unfinished items are the same in each store. If they are not, that would be nice to know as well. A price list would make my trip justified. Thanks.

Dana,
Pricing is not available on the main site for one specific reason. We have stores in the Bahamas and Trinidad and their price and tax structure is very different from the United States of America. So we would not be able to give a set price that would honestly cover all our prices. Also many towns have lisceensed stores in them and their price structure is set by that owner according to shipping costs etc . . . So although we are similar none of us have the exact pricing.

You can send in a price request and we will forward that request to your local store to contact you and give out the pricing. Also you can write down the stock number on the site and simply contact your local Wood You Furniture store for their local price. I hope this helps!

wow you are right . . . it has been closed for such a short period of time that I breezed right by that one. I apologize for the inconvience I personally caused you, it definately should have been removed! On a better note we do have other stores in that area that would love a chance to earn your business. Wood You of Davie is the next closet location to you. Jason and his crew would be happy to service you and all your furniture needs. A little bit further away but so worth the trip when it comes to quality all wood furniture at affordable prices!

My Family and I recently foung out about you through a friend. We found the location closest to us on your website. When we went their they were closed and a mattress store was setting up. I guess my point is that if you have a closed location they should not be listed on your site.

Ms Dobbins Marshal is still in the Wood you Furniture family and I will pass your email on to him without posting it here for obvious reasons. As for the Casselberry store it was closed but with the intention of moving it into a new location in the greater Orlando area. We opened a store in Altamonte Springs which was about 15 minutes form the old Casselberry store. It is located on SR436 on the opposite side of I-4 that our Casselberry store was.

They were just to close to keep both of them open so we decided on the Altamonte Springs store due to its central location and in the future will reopen a store closer to some of the new growth further out to service our customer's out around the B Line. Come visit us in Altamonte Springs, we get our customers coming in all the time that shopped with us in Casselberry.

I was visiting your site and saw an opportunity to share my view. Just wanted to let your company know that I am from New Jersey and have recently moved down into Florida.

My cousin told me about your company and I visited your store this weekend in Miami. Just wanted to let you kow what a neat store you have. I will be coming back her soon to furbish my new condo. You have a new customer!

After finishing the aspen bed we purchased, we realized that it did not come with hardware for assembly. When picking up the bed, we also got a box with center supports, but there is nothing to attach the headboard and footboard to the rails. Was that something that should have come with the bed or is it something we need to purchase separately? Thank you in advance for the clarification.
As an additional comment, we are quite happy with our experience at the Cutler Bay Wood You and the quality of our furniture.

Thank you for your kind reference of the Wood You Cutler bay store, it never gets old hearing it! As for your bed I am going ot have to ask you to contact that store for further clarification. There are many ways to buy a footboard and headboard and without knowing the specifics of the item it is all but impossible to give you an educated answer.

However, i think you will find the staff to be ready and willing to assist you in any manner neccessary to recify the situation! Have a wonderful Sunday, sorry I could not be more specific.

Lisa,

First off thank you for your years of loyalty. The largest maufacturer of aspen products is a company named Khoury. Check with your local Wood You Furniture store and see if they carry that line. If they do they will have an instore catalog with all the available products from them, with in reason.

I say that because manufacturers do add and drop products frequently and at times it can be a chore in and of itself to keep up with the flow of that manufacturer. With that being said the majority of the Khoury line is on this website and there will be in store catalogs to view the products available as well.

Dear Mr.Blankenship,

I have been in the store in Ocala, Fl. and they no longer carry the Aspen set. I need at least one more piece to finish my guest room set. K004100U the Aspen Bi-Level or the Aspen Highboy K000600U. When I looked on your new site (which is very nice) Thank you, they did not show up as a dealer ? I was told at the store that their sister store in Gainesville,Fl. could still order this but only when a full truck would be coming from up North, Mi. Is there any other store in the region/central Fl. that I could just go into and pick it up.

I have been a previous customer of Wood You for many years (15+) now. Having many of your pieces already in my home, I am looking to add to them. Since the stores carry different products than those shown on the website, I was wondering if the website truly contained every item available for purchase or if there would be a catalog in store that would have more selections. I am in need of 2 bedside/accent tables in the aspen wood but finding it difficult to locate the aspen pieces at my nearest store. I have no problem driving to another location but want to be certain they have the pieces I want. Will you please advise if there is an in-store catalog where I may search for the pieces I want. Or, is what shown on the website all that is offered at all Wood You stores? Please reply ASAP as I am hoping to make a purchase very, very soon.

My wife and I spent sometime on your website prior to going to your store. We had a good idea of the items we were interested in (which i later found out was Khoury) and were very disappointed to find out that our local store does not carry what we wanted.

They knew the items we apoke of but did not even offer to bring them in for us. Also their attitude towards us seemed a bit short. Why show something on your site that is not available at your stores? You lost a sale from us.

Sorry to hear about your experience with your local store. Each store owner chooses what they wish to carry and there are a few who no longer carry the Khoury line. It is available in the majority of our stores and has been a great product for us for over 20 years. Since the majority of Wood You stores carry the line we display it on the main site to best service our customer.

I bought a load of bedroom furniture last week and just wanted to leave a note saying what a great product Wood You offers. The store is a lot of fun and family freindly. I will definately be back and recommend this store to all my friends and family!

We have the mission dining room table and chairs. A white wash finish was applied to it. It has been in storage for about 4 years. Now we notice that areas of the wood have darkened where the white wash finish was not applied. I'm wondering how we can "touch up" those areas without refinishing the entire set. Can we sand those areas and apply a white wash finish to just those areas? Will it blend in? What product should we use? Also, the top has some damage from moving and will need to be sanded down. Do we need to completely sand it down? Can you advise what product to use to seal the finish and give it the shine? Thanks very much.

Hi. The local Wood You near me is a really neat store for my family to shop. They seem to always have something new in there when I stop by. My sister and I are addicted to your store.

I stopped by your Opelika store the other day and was impressed by your wonderful selection of furniture and your friendly and helpful staff. I will return for my future furniture needs.

My mother and I really enjoy visiting our local Wood You Furniture in Anderson. We spend a lot of time in the store just dreaming and planning! Whoever works the store always is close to help but allows us to enjoy our time together . . . Great store!

Just dropping a note letting you know how my wife and I enjoy our shopping at the local Wood You Furniture near us. The lady we deal with is always so pleasant and seems to truly care about my wife's desires. Nice feeling, good furniture and fair pricing. We will be back!

My wife purchased a wood table . . . this year for our kitchen . . . and decided not to get one at this time. I went to the store here in West Melbourne . . . for a refund and was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks. It is now May 24, and we are still waiting. I was told everything had to come from the HOME Office. I would appreciate any and all help. Thank You

I just came on your site to look at a few items with my wife. I have not been on in sometime and was pleasently surprised at your site and now a blog. Really looks nice!

I shop at the Clearwater Wood You and have always been treated very nicely. My wife is over my shoulder saying she always feels comfortable shopping there and gains good information from your staff everytime she visits.

You have some good employee's who care about us, that makes it easier to buy from Wood You Furniture. Good real wood products, nice store and good employees! I rate your company as a whole and my local Wood You very highly, keep up the good work!
